These Terms govern your use of Help Me Read Ancient Greek. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The service

Help Me Read Ancient Greek is a personal reading-practice service, not an accredited course or professional academic advice. Stories, annotations, translations, and study aids are generated and automatically checked. They are not routinely reviewed by a human expert and may contain errors.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Keep access to your email account secure and provide accurate billing information. One account is intended for one learner.

Trial, price, and renewal

The seven-day trial requires a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at $6.99 USD each month plus any applicable tax. Stripe displays the amount due before checkout. Prices may change only with advance notice and will not alter a period already paid for.

Cancellation, pause, and expiration

You may cancel through the billing portal. Access continues through the end of the current trial or paid period, and no further renewal is charged. You may pause story delivery for up to 30 days while billing continues. After expiration, generation and delivery stop; your existing archive remains read-only unless you delete the account.

Corrections and availability

You may report incorrect or unnatural Greek. We may replace the web version and send a corrected PDF while retaining the original delivery record. We may delay a story that fails automated checks. Delivery times are targets and can be affected by email providers, maintenance, and events outside our control.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, evade access controls, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful material, automate account creation, or scrape, resell, or systematically redistribute private generated stories. Reasonable personal quotations and study use are permitted.

Content and intellectual property

The site, software, branding, and curated materials remain protected by applicable law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use delivered stories and PDFs for your own learning. Feedback and error reports may be used to operate and improve the service without identifying you publicly.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and changes

We may suspend access for abuse, security risks, or nonpayment. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with a new effective date; when required, we will provide notice or request renewed consent.
